Who we are

BPB Construction is a building and carpentry business based in Poole, Dorset. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website. You can contact us on 07789 749349 (call or WhatsApp) or at info@bpb-construction.co.uk.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote or a call back: your name, phone number, the postcode of the property, details of the job, when you'd like it done, when to call you, and the messages you type into the quote assistant.
When you use the site: anonymous information about the visit, such as which buttons were tapped, which website or advert sent you here, and whether you were on a phone or computer. This is not linked to you unless you send us your details in the same visit. We do not use cookies or store anything on your device.

Why we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit and give you a quote, and to understand which parts of the website and which adverts bring in enquiries. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and on taking steps at your request before any contract. We never sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.

Who else handles it

Our website partner, who runs this site and the system that stores enquiries for us, using hosting and database providers (Vercel and Neon).
An AI service, used only to answer questions you type into the quote assistant. Please don't type anything sensitive there.
An email service, used to send your enquiry to us.
WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there; WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use the safeguards UK law requires.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for up to 24 months, or longer if we go on to do work for you and need records of the job. Anonymous visit information is kept for up to 24 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Call or WhatsApp us on 07789 749349, or email info@bpb-construction.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
